So late evening on the 28th of July, my inquisitive adorable luminescent cat Loki got on the wrong end of a dog’s mouth and got attacked.We took him to the local Animal Hospital where he is currently at.

He is out of surgery and damage fixed up for the most part, his left leg had more muscle damage than the right, and he is on various drips and drains. Pelvic fracture definite.

He’s out of critical stage and into stableish, they’re fixing his bloodwork to get it back to some semblance of normal. he isn’t out of the woods yet but as long as he doesn’t do anything fucking retarded like have his kidneys fail, tomorrow we should have a better indication of a more positive prognosis.

Clearly from the image you can see some severe bruising on his belly but thankfully it’s all surface bruising and not anything internal. That and him being entirely half shaven, drugged up and covered in tubes and needles, he took a few seconds during our visit to voice his extreme displeasure at his predicament.

Thus far the bill is at 2.5k and climbing, and he’s only been in there overnight. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I *don’t* have the money to cover this right now.

So as much as I hate asking for help, I hate the thought of losing my little man a hell of a lot more.

No donation is too small, and every bit helps me cover the costs to get Loki back on his feet. I’m not going to write you off the xmas card list if you can’t, I’m just throwing out options here on what I can do to avoid the “oh you can’t afford it well we’re putting him down” option which will utterly break my heart.

Please share this with some peeps as well, seriously if someone can only spare $2 but then I get a whole mess of people doing the same thing, it’s still going to go a long way to helping out.
